About Nirvana Indian Cuisine

Nirvana Indian Cuisine is the culmination of a lifetime spent in love with food. Owner Tarun Gomes came to Montgomery County from Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1985 and has been cooking ever since. Honing his craft in kitchens across India, the Middle East, and Washington, DC.

After running Kashmir Palace in Rockville and Bombay Gaylord in Silver Spring, Tarun opened Nirvana in the Summer of 2018. Every dish carries his story, rooted in authenticity, prepared with patience, pride, and genuine love.
